2014 Bark to the Park Success

Bark to the Park Success

The 2014 Bark to the Park event was an amazing success!  |
The event boasted dog shows by K-9's In Flight, a pet photo booth available to all of the registrants and their furry friends, pet contests, delicious food and local vendors supporting the homeless pets in the Midlands.

This year's walk exceeded our goal, bringing in over $151,000, with almost 1,500 animal advocates and 115 total teams out to show their support.  Participants raising $100 or more received prizes in their registration bags, as Pawmetto Lifeline's way of saying "Thanks."

The overwhelming attendance at this event shows the Midlands leaders that members of the community care a great deal about lowering the euthanasia rate and want to create a lasting solution to the homeless pet epidemic.  "We would like to extend another heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the volunteers, donors and participants who selflessly gave of their time and money in order to save the lives of innocent pets in our local municipal shelters that are faced with an uncertain future," said Sarah Johnson, Director of Development for Pawmetto Lifeline.
