All of our open job postings are listed on our Indeed page. All resumes can be emailed to Wendy Engel at wengel@pawmettolifeline.org.
Pawmetto Lifeline is always in need of monetary donations to help serve the homeless pets in our care. We also have a donation wishlist as well. As immediate needs arise we will post the needs on our Facebook page as well.
Each January you will receive a tax letter for your donations. If you need a tax letter before January please reach out to Helen Cotton (hcotton@pawmettolifeline.org).
Due to liability, volunteers must be 16 years old or older to volunteer. Even if parents are present we do not allow children under the age of 16 to volunteer on site.
However, we would love for children to get involved in helping our homeless pets. Alot of children have done donation drives in their community or lemonade stands to help raise money as well.
Please refer to TNR tips and tricks above as well as these helpful links!
We use what we refer to as a “Humane Trap” or “Havahart Trap”. They use a trip plate to safely trap animals using food as bait. Most of your local feed stores sell them, including Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight. You can also purchase a trucatch trap from https://www.trucatchtraps.com/.
Pawmettto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway, behind Academy Sports. If there is not parking when you arrive in our main parking lot please feel free to use the parking lot just behind the shopping center.
Due to the high volume of clients and situations that arise everyday with our animals we may not always be readily available to answer the phone. We ask that you please leave a message and/or email the department you wish to speak to. Email addresses and extensions can be found on our Staff Directory.
To ensure the safety of our animals we have everyone fill out an adoption application for our records before they visit with our animals.
When you click on an animal's profile there is a section next to the picture labeled "Location". If the location says "Onsite" they are housed at Pawmetto Lifeline. If it says "Offsite-Foster Program" or "Off-site - Ambassador Program" that means the animal is with a loving a foster home.
If you are interested in an animal in foster care or part of our Ambassador Program, please contact the adoptions team to arrange for the animal to brought on site.
For medical records please email wellness@pawmettolifeline.org.
