June 17 – 21 (Ages 6-8): “Animal Helpers!”
Do you have a youngster that can’t get enough of animals?! Does he or she want to learn more about caring for animals? If so, this is the perfect camp! Children will learn how to properly interact and extend care to cats and dogs as we utilize the adorable rescued fur-babies that are available for adoption here at Pawmetto Lifeline. Your child will learn what it means to be a great pet owner through age-appropriate lessons, which will include topics about pet rescue, the different breeds of cats and dogs, and some training tips along with fun arts and crafts projects. Campers will be visited by guest speakers from local organizations, such as law enforcement and canine working dogs, and service dog handlers. We are excited to have new topics, so prior campers can experience something new with us!
Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: $275/child (Healthy snacks will be provided. Campers will provide their own lunches.)
