Featured Pet: Bernard
Age: 1 year
Breed: Terrier mix
Gender: Male (neutered)
Bernard is a GREAT dog. The only issue is he is young and full of energy. He needs a lot of exercises and some training with mouthing which is part of the puppy phase. His adoptive mom is working on the mouthing/training.
The ideal home for Bernard is one that has a huge fenced in yard, no children under 12 in case he jumped on them, another young medium size dog to play with would be a huge benefit although he really likes small dogs, but the small dog would need to like him so there are no negative interactions. Bernard is a sweet boy. He loves to play ball and chew bones. Bernard likes to sit in your lap and watch TV.
A large fenced in yard is also good BUT only if he has a playmate. He doesn’t do much if he is just placed outside by himself.
He is crate trained and actually loves his crates. Sleeps on the bed some with his current family but happy to get in his crate to sleep during the night.
Bernard’s adoption fee of $200 includes all age-appropriate vaccines, neuter surgery, microchip with free registration, heartworm test, and an exam by an SC-licensed Veterinarian.
