Featured Pets: Hattie & Stache
Why doesn’t anyone want us? Our names are Stache & Hattie. We have been homeless for 433 days too long and would love nothing more than to come home with you. We have been in foster for 3 months and our foster mom has these great things to say about us:
“Hattie is very shy and timid when she is first learning a new environment, but once she gets comfortable, she is very playful, funny, and sweet. She is very independent, but when she wants attention, she gets very cuddly and vocal.
Her brother, Stache, is very different. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle and sit right in your lap. He is sweet and docile and curious in what you are doing. They are a great pair, and they have never once bitten or scratched me. They love belly rubs and being scratched behind the ears.”
We have tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), but PLEASE don’t let that scare you away from us. We are healthy and can live a long life with you! . FeLV is contagious to other cats so we would need to be your only kitties, unless you have other cats with FeLV as well. Learn more about Feline Leukemia at https://animalguardian.org/adopting-cats-feline-leukemia/ as well as one of our success stories, Sebastian, https://www.wellpetssc.com/…/Adopting-A-Cat-With-Feline-Leu…
Our adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, microchip with free registration, initial flea/heartworm prevention, and an exam by a SC-Licensed Veterinarian.
We are part of the Priority Program, which includes FREE annual well visits, including core vaccines and basic veterinarian treatments, FREE Wellness visit if related to the disease, and medications are provided at 10% above cost.
